“I’m currently in Salima, Malawi as part of a Tearfund Transform gap year trip for five months. We’re just over one month in now, and we’re having a great time. Our partner charity has tasked us with writing reports on their projects which they will use to try and gain more grants.
“The work out here has truly improved people’s lives greatly. The projects include education for farmers on how to increase their yields, Village Savings and Loans (VSL) schemes, tree planting to help reduce soil erosion and flooding near rivers, adult literacy education, and water safety.
“We’ve also made contact with Gideon’s Bibles here, so we hope to give those out soon. We’ve started to make friends with locals around our lodge through playing sports with the children.
“Pray that we’d be able to bless those people more. Thank you for all your support.”
